I've always been a huge sports fan. As I grew up in small town Rockwell City, Iowa, I got to see how great small town sports really were. I graduated from South Central Calhoun High School and I currently attend Iowa State University where I am majoring in Journalism and Mass Communications and minoring in Digital Media and History. I work as a student intern for Cyclones.TV - the place where all of the athletic video content and network production is done at Iowa State. Some duties that I have had over the past two years include preparing for and executing ESPN+ broadcasts and creating creative content for Iowa State Athletics.

I got into filming sports my senior year of high school. Growing up, I was a five sport athlete but the more I got older, the more I realized I wasn't the best athlete around. All of my close friends played sports so I wanted to stay connected with them as much as possible. I decided to pick up a camera and give that a try. Ever since then, I have spent my time working to get better and better at what I do. I often spend my free time golfing, spending time with friends or doing anything else outdoors.
